2018 : TO THE FUTURE AND BEYOND

Today is March 10, 2018. I know this is coming a bit late, but I made myself finish it, especially since I missed 2017’s update. It took me a while to complete this drawing since I haven't been very active with my art over the past two years. I'm working on getting back on track with my creative projects. Lately, I've been saying "yes" to everything, so you can expect more personal projects from me this year. Balancing a full-time job with pursuing my passion will be challenging, but I’m committed. If not now, then when?

2017 : MAGICAL ROLLER COASTER RIDE

I’ve come to realize that the universe will continue expanding and the sun will keep orbiting the Milky Way. Life goes on.

2017 was a year of unexpected ups and downs. It was the year I worked on improving myself and ended my year-long social media hiatus. We produced and released some incredible projects at Kix that I will always be proud of. It was also the year we traveled to six countries in six weeks and met many amazing people, totaling nine countries throughout the year. What a ride!

The Moon didn’t give up on me.

2016 : PRISON

If you’ve followed my annual New Year sketches, you’ll remember this structure. In my previous sketch, I wrote, “2016, an unknown journey.” Little did I know, 2016 turned out to be a psychological nightmare. It was a year of profound struggle, where I was deeply hurt and lost my passion for everything. I was both financially and emotionally broken. I stopped drawing, confined myself, and went on hiatus for almost a year. The stress even triggered eczema, causing me to avoid sunlight on most of my skin. The year felt interminable yet passed in a blur. I can’t recall all the details, but I know I survived, thanks to The Moon.
